Jason Giachetti is a Band Director at Huntington High School. In addition to directing the Senior Band, Mr. Giachetti teaches AP Music Theory, directs the Jazz Ensemble, and is the Program Coordinator of the award winning Huntington High School Blue Devil Marching Band.  He holds a Bachelors Degree in music education with a Performance Certificate from SUNY Potsdam and the Crane School of Music as well as a Masters Degree in Music Education with a concentration in Wind Conducting from Hofstra University. 

    While at Crane, Jason was selected for many honorable performances including the 2000 Concerto Competition and the New Music Ensemble Celebration for George Crumb.  Jason has marched with two top 12 Drum Corps DCI, the Bluecoats and the Colts, as well as the Syracuse Brigadiers, the 5 time DCA World Champions. Jason is a talented musician with a passion for perfection and is a fine educator.
